Our Company’s Backstory

Doris Mosseri founded US Mobile Phones in 2000 as a way to wholesale refurbished consumer electronics in the New York Metro area. As the business grew, the company started to focus more on cellular products and other mobile devices.

Apex Buyback is a recently launched division of USMP that caters to the needs of institutions in many different sizes. Regardless of their size, businesses and other institutions need a buyback provider that can maximize value and at the same time make sure that their data is kept secure and destroyed according to NIST and ISO certification standards.

We founded Apex Buyback in 2019 in order to focus on technology buybacks in industries that include education, enterprise, and the government. Our vision for this division is to help institutions maximize value on their surplus and used tech while also maintaining the strictest data security standards.
